Welcome to make 100 Detailed Dragons
In this ultra-limited edition Kickstarter, I will be making 100 different artworks of ink, watercolour and acrylic dragons. I am making this Kickstarter as there are two things I love painting: Dragons and fantasy/surreal landscapes. This Kickstarter is focused on dragons with a touch of surreal dragons and landscapes. What is special about this Kickstarter is you get to design your own dragon, Build a Bear style.
You can design your own dragon with all my options. Select the colour, style and age of the dragon and I'll create a unique dragon just for you.
This Kickstarter is like Build a Bear but for original dragon artwork!
I am only painting 100 dragons total, with each tier limited to 10-20 people, depending on the tier.
What you get to decide for the dragon
Colour or black and white
You can choose from colour or black & white tiers.
If you chose a colour tier then you get to choose one primary colour and one secondary colour for your dragon.
Or for the full-body colour commission tier and higher you can choose up to 5 colours for the dragon and select a mood colour for the background.
Dragon Types
You can choose one from the following options: Water, Surreal, Nature, Fire, Chimeric, Birdlike and Classic.
More Dragon Types will be unlocked as stretch goals

The amount of Dragon you want
You get to choose how much of the dragon I illustrate. The options start from just getting the head of the dragon, to the head & torso and finally the whole body.

Dragon Acrylic Paintings
$1500 Acrylic Painting Tier
This is a high-end Acrylic painting tier for $1500, you get a 50cm by 45cm original painting of a dragon with a suggestion of background or natural environment. You can select how much of the dragon is shown in the painting, it can be a full-body dragon portrait or torso painting. Also, you can choose up to 4 colours for the dragon and a few contrasting colours for the background.
Dragon Types and Age Choices are the same as those listed above.
Acrylic Dragon Painting 75cm x 55cm, examples
$3500 Acrylic Painting Tier
In this high-end Acrylic painting tier for $3500 you get a 75cm by 55cm original painting of a dragon with a detailed background of a natural environment. You can select to have as much of the dragon shown in the painting it can be a full-body dragon portrait or torso painting. Also, you can choose up to 7 colours for the background and a few contrasting colours for the background.

Choose from the same options listed for the tiers above. HOWEVER, In this reward tier, you have the option to combine two dragon types!

Make 100 limited edition Watercolour Prints
For an insane price of only $49, I will also be releasing 5xA5 watercolour dragons as PRINTS or for $59 you can get the pack of Prints in A4. The designs will be revealed as the campaign progresses and my goal is to unlock more of them as stretch goals. The goal is to release ten prints in the pack as we unlock stretch goals, including the 9 Dragon Gods of Luminous Ages.
Below is an example of one of the prints that is part of the A4 print pack and A5 print pack. This is one of the five prints and it is possible another 5 will be unlocked as stretch goals and/or milestones.

Who is Anthony Christou?
Anthony Christou is the writer, artist and creator of Luminous Ages. He is a writer, digital artist, traditional painter, illustrator, game designer and graphic novelist based in Adelaide, South Australia. His passion is for fantasy, mythology and surrealism. He is well known for taking his fantasy and popular culture paintings to comic conventions around Australia and the globe. His comic and fantasy art series Luminous Ages is one of the highest funded Graphic Novels on Kickstarter from Australia.
Award-winning art & published
Anthony has won multiple art awards with www.gnomonworkshop.com, cghub and conceptart.org. He has been published in "ImagineFX" (twice), "How to draw dragons made easy" and on the video game "The Path of Exile". He has also created concept art for studios such as Disney and Wolf Creek Productions.
His artwork is hanging in the National Living Art Museum of Japan as his art was a finalist and got in the top 40 of artists in the ART OLYMPIA contest in Toyko Japan.
