Art the of feefall

      

Hi everyone! My name is Linnea Kikuchi, although here on the internet I'm more commonly known as Feefal. Check out my Instagram and Twitter.

I’m an illustrator from Sweden, and I have a passion for creating artwork that is rich in dreamlike elements, and combines feminine characteristics with a darker, more gritty edge. Another huge interest of mine is creating character designs based around everyday objects – whether it be a lamp, or a mushroom, or a telephone…

I’m very excited to announce this Kickstarter campaign for my very first art book, The Art of Feefal. 

Art has been my biggest passion ever since I was born, and creating an art book has been a distant dream of mine ever since I was a young teen. I remember browsing through the art book section of the in-town comic book store and imagining that I’d get to create one myself one day… Well, the day has arrived my good folks! And so, I am inviting you to help me, by preordering this book of mine.

I have been posting my artwork on different social media platforms for many years now, and all the support and encouragement I have received has made it possible to continue making art and really grow as an artist. I see this book as a culmination of all those years of effort. The Art of Feefal is for those who appreciate my work, those who are curious as to where I draw my inspiration from, and everyone who wishes to own a collection of it.

Through The Art of Feefal, I aim to create a book to collect and summarize all of the pieces I have made during my years working as an illustrator, and showcase the different aspects of my style. I’ve put more work into this project than anything else I’ve ever done in order to fill it with as much new and intriguing art as possible. In fact, I think I’ve created some of my best illustrations these past few months, because I’ve been so motivated!

In this book you will find gallery-style pages featuring my favorite and newest work, as well as step-by-step tutorials on how I work when creating my illustrations, explaining both how I work traditionally in pen and watercolor paints, as well as digitally with Procreate.

It is also filled with thoughts I carry about art in general, opinions on art school, general advice that has helped me on this career path and so much more. Also, a little bit of some personal stuff. Not too personal, just a little bit!

Through this campaign you have the opportunity to get your hands on a standard edition or a limited signed edition - but as signed editions are limited, be sure to pledge quickly to avoid missing out!

We have fulfilled many successful Kickstarters and we have a great record for delivering to backers around the world. As we are determined that you will receive your parcel without any hiccups or problems with delivery, parcels sent to the UK, USA, and Europe will be sent using our regular and reliable service where possible, although larger parcels (pledges with add-ons) will be sent with tracked shipping. All parcels sent to the rest of the world will be sent with tracked shipping.

Due to complications to logistics caused by the coronavirus, some countries are continuing to implement surcharges for receiving international deliveries. This is why shipping prices may seem slightly higher for some backers than it has done on previous campaigns. Parcels will ship from the UK, and 3dtotal Publishing is not responsible for any customs fees that may be incurred for your individual country. Parcels will be marked as printed matter or books.

We will be fulfilling packages from this campaign in-house, so please keep in mind that it will take us a few days to work our way through packing all the items if there is a high number of backers.

Unforeseen delays that are out of our control can occur during delivery, so please allow an additional two weeks before checking up on your package. We will be doing our best to make sure everything gets to you on time!

For those who are not familiar with Kickstarter, it’s a worldwide crowd-funding platform for artists and their creative projects. If the campaign is successful, we will start finalizing the book, which will be sent to you, along with any additional add-ons, in June. We will send out a backer survey asking for your delivery details, which you will receive as an email through Kickstarter. We ask that you fill the survey in as soon as possible, to avoid any delays in sending out your reward!

As seasoned users of Kickstarter, 3dtotal Publishing know that a very small number of backers don’t fill in the survey at the end of a Kickstarter campaign, making it impossible for us to process and ship their rewards without their address. 3dtotal pledges to hold all rewards for backers that fail to fill in their survey for 12 months and to make multiple efforts to contact the backers in question to try to successfully deliver their items.
