Majestic Volume 1: A Beautiful Fantasy Adventure

Majestic is a brand new comic series written by Curtis Clow and illustrated by Anniku Pineda with Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou on letters and Andres Juarez on design. This is a Kickstarter for the first volume of Majestic.
Volume 1 is over 80 pages of story with some special behind the scenes back matter bound together in a softcover trade paperback. We'll have three different cover options available; the standard, collectors version and a special guest variant only available via add ons (only 100 copies to be printed).
Majestic is a fantasy series about a young adult, shape shifting girl named Lyra and her new friend, a young boy whos been outcast from his tribe named Mako. Mako must prove himself a man before returning home. Lyra and Mako go on an adventure as she tries to help him return home.
Lyra is the spirit of the forest, able to transfer into various creatures that inhabit it. Lyra is fierce, fast and strong as these creatures. But she rarely spends time in her human form. She hates her human form.
This is a story about learning to love yourself.

Curtis Clow
Writer - Curtis is a comic book writer. Some comics that he's written and created include The Wild Cosmos with Scout Comics and The Dragon's Kin with In Hiatus Studios. He's a fan of all things sci-fi and fantasy. This'll be his thirteenth Kickstarter campaign, with his others ending successfully. Currently living in sunny Orange County, California. Besides writing at his desk, he enjoys practicing jiu jitsu and muay thai and going on backpacking camping trips.
Anniku Pineda
Artist - Based in Spain, Anniku Pineda is a comic book artist who has released several mangwa-style webcomics. She's doingthe linework and colors of Majestic. She is well known for her work on Instagram.
Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou
Hassan is a British-Algerian comics letterer who has worked on titles like Time Before Time, World of Krypton, Red Sonja and X-O Manowar. He's also the editor of the Eisner-winning PanelxPanel magazine, and voice behind Strip Panel Naked.
Andres Juarez
Design - Andres Juarez is an art director and designer based out of Los Angeles, California. His work can be seen on countless Skybound titles such as The Walking Dead Deluxe, Excellence, Redneck, Negan Lives!, the Eisner-nominated Gasolina, Deep Theory by Deep Theory Studios, Luchador by Last Bastion Studios, and Beastlands by Curtis Clow.

Shipping will be done in a secure Gemini Comic Supply Flash Mailers, which provides impact resistant protection when possible. We'll be doing all the packaging ourselves to ensure it's done right and safe. Any bigger orders that won't fit in the Flash Mailers will be be mailed safely in a cardboard mailer box.

Why Kickstarter?
As a group of independent creators Kickstarter is a chance for us to self publish and produce this comic. Sure, we'd love to have a publisher with us on the series someday. But right now, this is as raw as it gets. This is a group of friends and creators making something for the love and passion of it. This is us trying to get our story out there no matter what it takes.
As a passion project we've already put hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars into this project. We're doing this for the love of comics. A successful Kickstarter campaign will allow us to cover any more art costs, print the book, distribute the book, take it to conventions and hopefully continue the series of Majestic!
