Baroque Tarot Deck
by La Muci Design

Whether you're a proud owner of the Multidimensional Fantôme Tarot Deck, a subscriber to my blog and newsletter, an Instagram follower, or an entirely new soul that has stumbled on my Kickstarter, allow me to present you my concept for this divine deck - The Baroque Tarot deck:

The Baroque Tarot Deck, much like Fantôme, is inspired by an architectural and artistic style. The Baroque style was developed and used in countless churches across Europe through the seventeenth to the nineteenth century. Much like its namesake, the deck aims to express a celebration of the divine, seeking salvation from the dark, guiding us throughout our journey from the poverty of the soul to spiritual richness and fulfillment.

This deck calls the user to care for their soul with much love, to open their heart and mind to learn their lessons and better themselves, and to have faith that all will unravel as it should. The design paints reality with very rough, brief strokes, the art acknowledging our mortality, pain, unfairness, lonesomeness, and hardships. Acknowledgment and actively working through the hardship rather than denying the hardship are some of the steps towards healing.

It also depicts our higher spiritual guides wishing to help us. I thus believe, when designing this deck, that it is best suited for all kinds of spirit-work, whether channeling spirit guides, guardian angels, or whichever higher force you turn to guidance towards.
If this deck speaks to you consider backing this project. This deck will be printed only if we reach the funding goal. By pledging now you will be the first to get it at the best possible price! By clicking on the button below you will be able to select one of the reward options and choose between available add-ons. If you're not convinced yet feel free to scroll further to learn more about the deck!

As gold has been historically deemed the most valuable material for a long time, we can see it being used in Baroque excessively, hoping to measure even a fraction of the amount of love and gratitude humans can feel from, and towards, the divine spirit.

- The deck will be glistening with golden foil on the edges and a baroque-esque pattern on the back.
- The size of the cards is 70 mm (~2.75 inches) wide and 120 mm (~4.75 inches) tall.
- The box has a velvety touch to it, and the cards are made from 350 g art paper, CMYK printing on both sides with matt lamination surface finish.
- The deck will consist of the full 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana, broken into four suits of wands, cups, pentacles, and swords.
Yes, that is me. I hope my accent is clear enough for you.

For a more detailed view, you can access the cards by clicking on the preview button.

Are the cards beginner-friendly? They certainly can be, as they follow the classical symbolism-free interpretations. However, you might want to check out this blog post about choosing your first deck, if it is your first, to consider whether it might fit your learning style.

- Ten (10) decks - if you're looking to buy wholesale then this is for you.
Want more than one (1) or ten (10) decks? You make various combinations by adding Baroque as a reward and an add-on.

If this deck speaks to you consider backing this project by clicking on the button below where you can select one of the reward options and choose between available add-ons. By pledging now you will secure the best possible price!

To add on any extra items, simply add the item in the "ADD ON" list when making your pledge! This menu will come up after clicking the "continue" button on this campaign page. Check the Add-ons section for more goodies available through this campaign.

First, allow me to show the you add-ons for this deck. Later in this post, I've some exciting timeline unlockable and social rewards to talk about!
1. Art Prints
As so many of you expressed your love for the card artwork, I also added an art print option as an add-on. If the campaign is successful and you select this add-on option you will be able to select a card that I will print for you as an A5 print (148 x 210 mm ~ 5.8 x 8.3 inches). The selection of cards will be done through the fulfillment survey after the campaign finishes.

2. Tarot Pouch
Made out of smooth black velvet, decorated with gold embroidery, and adorned with gold tassels, these bags will keep your precious deck protected. The size will be 17 x 22 cm (6.6in X 8.6in). I did make some improvements so this bag will now have a two-string closing mechanism. You pull both ends of the strings and the top will close.

3. Pendulum board with a crystal pendulum
Pendulums are one of my favorite new tools for spiritual healing and inner growth. When suspended from a stationary position, a pendulum will swing back and forth or in a circular motion over a pendulum board. I designed this pendulum board specifically for this campaign. It's made out of "plexiglass" with an engraved pattern on top. The size of the board is 95 x 95 mm (~ 3.75 x 3.75 inches). The pendulum itself is made of a small metal chain with a crystal at the end.

4. Tote Bag
I decided to design and add a tote bag as an optional add-on. To stay in line with the concept of the deck it comes with a gorgeous baroque pattern print. The bag itself is made out of cotton. The size of the bag will be 37 x 42 cm (~14.5 x 16.5 in). which is more than enough to handle all your Baroque goodies and anything else you want to maybe put inside.

5. Tarot Cloth
To make a perfect set you can also pick up this 100% silk tarot cloth. The size of the cloth will be 55 cm x 55 cm (~ 19.7 inches x 19.7 inches). Cards of all kinds will glide across the smooth surface, adding a 'touch of magic to your readings. Open to all kinds of card designs, the artwork on this cloth represents a ray of hope (enlightenment) shining over the mountains (hardship) across a sea (stream of consciousness). It's versatile for the altar, tarot reading, and other personal uses.

6. Extra Baroque Deck
In my previous campaign, many of you ask me if it was possible to get an extra deck. Sadly the Kickstarter system allows you to only pick one reward. That is why I decided to also add the Baroque Tarot Deck as an add-on so you can get multiple copies if you'd like. Get an extra deck to gift to yourself and someone you care about!

7. Fantôme Multidimensional Tarot Deck
Did you miss my previous Kickstarter campaign? Get Fantôme: A Multidimensional Tarot Deck as an add-on next to Baroque. Fantôme is an 80-card tarot deck. The name itself honors the guiding hand of tarot and your inner spirit in the cards. The design is a culmination of my love for geometry, mystery, and traditional brutalist artwork all blended together with the storytelling of tarot. The deck is also accompanied by a special multidimensional guidebook in the form of an augmented reality app. You can read more about Fantôme here.

8. Express Shipping Upgrade
I'm trying something new here. I'm not sure if you know, but Kickstarter only lets you set one shipping profile for all the rewards. Usually, campaign creators then need to decide if they will offer only regular shipping or only express shipping. Some backers prefer the first option and some the second option. I think I found a way to make everyone happy. By default, all rewards will be sent with standard track shipping (a.k.a. regular post). If you want to upgrade to express shipping please select this add-on and we will ship your order with one of the express carriers (DHL, FedEx, UPS,...). See the FAQ for more information on shipping.

Now you have seen all the main reward and add-on items. Consider backing this project by clicking on the button below. By pledging now you will help bring this project to life and secure the best possible price for the deck!

Wish to gift this deck for Christmas to someone? This deck will not be ready by Christmas. Most likely, the orders will ship out by June 2022, around the summer solstice. See below for the Timeline. Still, if you are looking to get a nice holiday gift for a loved one or for yourself please consider backing this campaign. I designed a printable gift card you can give to your friends and loved ones. Click on the download button below to get the designs.

I also decided to do something different instead of stretch goals. I came up with something I call "Weekly reveals". During the campaign, every weekly Kickstarter update letter will have enclosed a surprise unlockable! I wanted these updates to not just be reassuring messages about the progress, but also give you a free additional reward for your continued support and attention!

Want to unlock even more items?
On top of that, I've in mind community rewards not for the amount of backers/sum earned, but rather the support on social media, blog, and newsletter. I don't want to make you feel like you can only support with financials if you just can't afford to do that right now. You can just as much support and help me see what the future scope of the deck might be by following me on social media and signing up for my newsletter.
Follow me on TIKTOK | FACEBOOK | INSTAGRAM | TWITTER

Each of the above numbers we hit shows me that the value I could bring is greater than what the Kickstarter fundraising might even represent. And for that support, I wish to give back to you. This is as far as I can see right now, but if we even pass these numbers I will update you with what more values I can bring you as my thank you for your continued support. I'll be updating you on the Social Rewards progress through my weekly updates.

The idea to launch another deck was rolling in my head after my first Kickstarter. I started working on it in Summer 2021 while I was waiting on my first campaign's decks to arrive. Right now we're in the middle of the Kickstarter campaign. If it's successful, the production will start in February 2022. If everything goes to plan, I believe I'll be able to ship out the orders in June 2022.

To get this deck first and to secure the best possible price consider backing this project by clicking on the button below. Kickstarter backers will receive their preorders first!

Satisfaction guarantee
I do believe I'm somebody who you can rely on. I want everything that leaves my hands to be as perfect as possible. I communicate openly about the project status and always make sure all my backers are up to date. And if you don't believe my word for it, you can check some of the comments from my previous Kickstarter project!

The Greater Goal
I have a store, La Muci Design, where I sell esoteric tools for soul-care. Sure enough one goal I wish to achieve is to gain a big enough scope for this design to safely add it as a full-time product under my boutique even after the Kickstarter. But, there's more to that. Eventually, I dream to build an esoteric community with you and empowering you to create that online space for yourself and others where we can engage, interact, and always have something bubbling and going on around the concept of soul-care.

Once again, I am Esra! A school art teacher turned esoteric shop owner, blog, and Kickstarter runner. La Muci Design is my lockdown child, wherein during the pandemic, I was able to put all my time and love into design and manifested my contribution to the spiritual world of self-care and self-exploration. During, pardon the trademark phrase, such uncertain times, ‘clarifying uncertainty’ became a driving force for my vision. And I just wish to keep doing this for as long as I have people like you supporting and being continuously invested in esoteric practices and cartomancy.
A final word
I appreciate each one of you helping bring this project to life, truly, really. Your feedback throughout the design process was incredibly valuable. Please keep in mind, all of these images are of the first prototypes, there are bound to be changes to the design as the project evolves.
From the bottom of my heart thank you, thank you, thank you.
